Copyright / DMCA Policy

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

Sheen respects intellectual property rights and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to our Designated Agent using the steps below.

How to Send a Takedown Notice

Email dmca@sheen.co with the subject "DMCA Notice." Your notice must include all of the following so we can act on it:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
  • Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it (for example, a link or screenshot).
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@sheen.co with the same contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake. We may restore the material as permitted by the DMCA.

Repeat Infringers; Designated Agent

Sheen may, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Designated Agent: [DMCA AGENT NAME], [ADDRESS], dmca@sheen.co. [REGISTRATION PENDING — the Designated Agent must be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (DMCA Designated Agent Directory) before this policy is relied upon; that is a manual filing.]
